I remember one time when I was about 7 or 8, my school organised pen pals with a school from Germany and the pal they gave me was so cool. She’d send me all these crazy German stickers and stuff in my envelopes. It was so bad ass.

Skip forward 15 years, I have a pen pal in the States in a 21st century style pen palship of iMessage and not snail mail, which is killer. It’s so cool to meet people on an international scale who you would normally never meet, especially when they’re amazing people. Australia and America are so similar but different in so many ways, which I find really cool on a daily basis.

So verdict, pen pals are sick.
